Knowledge hub

The GunongTrade knowledge hub: every buyer guide, grouped by the question it answers.

46 guides in one place, sorted by topic instead of by publication date. Start from the question you are actually holding — a size that does not match its name, a leather or sole you want to judge, a shape that has to fit a laptop, or a reference you are about to send on WhatsApp — and the matching group below takes you straight to the page that answers it.

What this knowledge base covers

This hub collects the reference material GunongTrade publishes for buyers who are choosing between two similar pieces, checking whether a size will work, or working out which detail to confirm before a purchase moves forward. The coverage splits into four kinds of question. Sizing questions come first: published measurements for individual models, the points where a house reuses the same size word for different bags, and the shoe, belt and outerwear scales that do not follow the size you would wear elsewhere. Materials and construction come next, covering leather grades, hardware and stitching, strap and handle materials, sole attachment, woven fabric, and movement types. Then the practical questions around choosing and inspecting a piece: which shape suits everyday carry, what fits inside, how organisation is laid out, and which visible details are worth a second look. Last come the sourcing and inquiry pages, which turn all of the above into the reference and the question you send.

How the hub is organised, and why

The order runs from the most specific question to the broadest. Bag size guides sit first because centimetres decide more purchases than any other single fact, and because two bags both labelled "medium" can differ by several centimetres in width. Model comparisons follow, for the buyers who already know the shape they want and are choosing between two names. The cross-category fit group exists because the same confusion repeats outside bags: one sneaker line runs a full size large, belt sizing starts at the buckle rather than at the waist, and a numeric jacket scale reads differently in menswear than in womenswear. Materials and construction are grouped together so that a reader who wants to judge leather, hardware, a sole or a fabric can do it in one pass. Choosing and inspecting covers the gap between liking a shape and confirming a piece, and the sourcing and inquiry pages put the questions in the order that produces a usable answer.

How to use it with the live catalog

Read the guide for the question you have now, then open the matching category album and send the reference, the measurement you settled on, and the detail you want checked. Each guide links onward to the category it belongs to, so the reading path and the catalog path stay together: a size guide leads to the bags catalog, a shoe or belt page leads to shoes or belts, and the inquiry guide leads to the category you are preparing a question for. If you would rather start from published measurements alone, the brand and category collections carry the dimension tables for a single brand and category without the wider reading.

Two limits are worth stating plainly. First, these pages explain how to judge a category and how to ask a precise question; they are not a substitute for the album entry for the piece you are considering, because batches, colour names and trims move faster than any static page. Second, where two published sources disagree on a measurement, the guide shows both figures and says so instead of picking one silently. That is deliberate: an honest range is more useful to a buyer than a single number that happens to look tidy.

Every page in the list below is a full guide — reference points, measurements or construction notes, and the questions buyers ask most often — rather than a short summary paragraph. The buyer FAQ answers the process questions around ordering and delivery, and the order process page explains what is confirmed on WhatsApp before anything is prepared.

Original dataset

Every published centimetre figure we hold, in one downloadable table.

The Luxury Bag Size Index gathers 144 measurement rows across 47 models from 12 houses — bag bodies and drops, belt strap widths and shoe foot lengths — and names one source page per row. It is the same published data the guides below are built from, kept in one place so it can be compared, downloaded and cited.

Dataset v1
Bag size and dimensions

Bag size and dimension guides, one model at a time.

Every bag guide here starts from centimetres rather than from the size word. Two houses can both call a bag "small" and still be 5 cm apart, so each page lists the published width, height and depth and explains what that footprint holds in daily use.

Model comparisons

Compare two model names before you settle on one.
